IP ostensibly exists so people can make a living selling their inventions or whatever, which is so many steps removed from the better solution of just giving people food and a house. Fuck markets, fuck marketing, steal my shit and make it cooler than I ever could have alone. Or fuck it up and send people my way looking for the real deal.
