When you wrote that you didn't know why the person who responded to you brought up the west, was that because it didn't seem relevant or because it seemed that they were trying to muddy waters in a sense? Like you made your point, they kinda didn't engage with it and brought up some ancillary issue when you wanted to focus on what you believed to be relevant?
