Aside from this phone locking being complete BS. Wasn't it possible to pay a third party to unlock it? I did that some years ago though we bought that phone with a huge discount which made it worth it.

Yea I mean I know there is plenty of corruption in the west. How and to what extend, that is not what I was arguing. By mentioning that it diverts what is going on in China. Corruption is corruption no matter where it is happening. And of course there are different forms of corruption. Did I answer your question this way?
Is there any research available that compensates the emission for all the emission saved? For example cows also produce leather and bones right? Not trying to defend meat production but just curious.
That's another part of the story. But usually when there are existing court cases that have dealt with this subject it will be fight able. Let's just hope this garbage is over rather sooner than later.
Trains are vital, high speed trains aren't. They've pumped out a lot of high speed train lines that simply are too expensive to maintain, and of course not to mention the potential faults in build quality.
To reduce the amount of planes high speed trains can be a good replacement. But building too many of them isn't going to do the train network any good on the long run if it's not being fully utilised.
