i don't care at all for horror games, and i never played phasmophobia which everyone says is similar to this game, but playing Lethal Company with friends is a blast. once you learn the game you can easily deal with most of the monsters and they become less scary, but the grainy gloomy aesthetic + huge replayability + cooperative focus really makes it special. and it only just released in early access and has already gotten a nice content update

best moment for me so far was going to an eclipsed planet, watching my two comrades walk out the door of the ship, one of them says "okay so we just need to be quic-" and then they both simultaneously got eaten by a giant sandworm and i immediately left the planet
