      So realistically, what is the outcome of this case? Obviously the evidence is stacked in favor of the prosecution, but it’s been nearly a century of everything Israel does going unpunished. My brain is having trouble imagining an alternative outcome

        yeah it kind of feels like this is a step on the path to the collapse of the Rules Based International Order and a geopolitical return to power unreservedly doing what it will, and the powerless doing what they must. expecting a US president to be tried for war crimes in absentia this decade to zero effect.

        i find it highly unlikely that a verdict in favor of the palestinians would actually move biden's hand. israel isn't bosnia after all.
