The best thing you can do is be chill and stay friends. You never know what could happen in the future, but you can't be possessive or prideful. Not easy if you got confidence or anger issues, but it's the best thing if you want to be a really cool dude
only do this if it's genuine and not waiting around for another shot, and it doesn't hurt too much. Don't friendzone yourself.
