The manga was not in English until 2003. I could not find translations into English until then. I liked the game that came out on Dreamcast in 1999. I do not remember these OVAs that came out before the 1997 anime. Please share more information, as I can’t find mention. There were OVAs that came out years after the Dreamcast game. But I’m fairly certain the game was the first Berserk thing in English. link
The Dreamcast was wild.
Berserk came out as a stand alone game with no context.
