It's crazy how libs are championing this. /r/politics is calling it masterful 4-d chess, because apparently republicans have to either let the deal through and give Brandon a "win" or block it and give Brandon a talking point on how he's tough on immigration but the republicans aren't.

Bro THEY DON'T CARE. If republican hypocrisy had any negative impact on voters there wouldn't be any elected republicans left.

Love to have the most progressive president since FDR push draconian immigration policy in an attempt to play a game of gotcha with people who don't care in front of voters who don't care

Guarantee those people live in majority liberal cities. They don't know what it's like to live in a reactionary society and just how many twists those people can put their brains through to justify anything.

draconian policies are very popular, evidently. but moreover, Biden is not trying to win staunch Republicans, he's trying to cement his appeal among the sliver of constituents that put him over the top last cycle (normal, suburban whites). making the GOP take seditious positions on immigration is probably a fine strategic move; and, while the redditor-lib affect --one of earnest, sycophantic defense of Biden-- is really lame, i wouldn't conclude that immoral positions are identical with strategic mistakes. if moral clarity and rectitude were sufficient to win, the Left should be, i'd like to think, undefeated.

Shut down more trade with a major trading partner, and we'll get the truckers themselves to cheer it on! The cucks! porky-happy Then we can jack up prices even more as the manufactured "border crisis" causes another "supply chain" issue.

Anytime a liberal talks about how they're tricking republicans because if they don't do it they'll be hypocrites could save a lot of time and energy by just copy and passing "I don't know the first thing about politics and have actively resisted learning anything for the last 6 decades."
