Some games from the past play a lot worse in hindsight than others. What recent, decently-liked video games do you expect to suffer this curse?

Extremely mid game associated to a toxic personality who takes anyone consuming her media to personally support her views, in a year crowded with candidates for best of the decade

Eh, I've beaten the game three times (pirated at launch with no patches, legit copy with lots of patches, and pirated 2.0 w/ Phantom Liberty) and wouldn't really say the game got any better in the intervening period. The graphical improvements are barely noticeable and imo the changes to the skill system didn't really make a big difference.

I personally enjoy the genre of "I have played this game a lot, and I think it's terrible. 5000 hours 1/5 steam review"

100% fair lol, I played through again as research for shit so I could run a TTRPG game in the setting after watching Edgerunners. The game may be bad, but the anime is very good.

I think for most of those sorts of reviews, devs do a bad patch that angers the 5000 hour people who then leave a negative review that looks nuts.

imo the changes to the skill system didn't really make a big difference.

The launch version had a swimming skill when swimming wasn't even possible didn't it? Personally I think the new skill system made some builds a lot more interesting (mainly melee) and toned down netrunning so that your enemies didn't just spontaneously combust when you looked at them mid game.
