The process of producing children is... non-trivial. And the child you produce isn't going to be some ideological clone, either. Even assuming this is a real movement and not just another NYT horny-post, you're still talking about spending the next twenty years of your life bringing another human being from conception to maturity. Its the sort of generational project that folks at these journals can barely conceive of in practice. All they hear is a tiny voice whispering "You must construct additional pylons" as they slap the "Build More Jews" button on their Hasidic version of Starcraft
