A Lakewood parishioner at the scene told CNN affiliate KPRC he was inside the church waiting for the Spanish language service to start when he heard multiple shots fired. The man was then instructed by a church usher to run, he told KPRC.
Obviously this is a developing story and who knows what the motivation was, but do have to wonder if the shooter was targeting the Latino parishioners.

Shooter was a Latina and known to the FBI for being unhinged around weapons in the past. Seems unlikely.
