It's interesting how American conservatives just kind of assume that their vision for the world and the visions other generally conservative political players have are in total agreement. At the end of the day most nations are playing for something different.

(Well that and an actual officeholder making an official statement is gonna have a different calculus than disgraced talking heads or internet posters)
