i'm imagining a version of this with the top panel being "we're already in hell and the demiurge is deceiving us" and the bottom panel being a really deep dive into 4th century ecumenical council debates but i'm too lazy to put it together

Damn right. Praise be to our Lord His Holiness St. Bhagawan Shree Matt Christman (PBUH). He himself will smite the Demiurge and bring about total gnosis in this defiled mortal realm.

When I was in elementary school, we had behavior cards and normally we’d all be green. It goes from green, yellow, orange, then red. When the teacher got fed up with our behavior, she would start all of us on orange and we would have the end of the day to get to yellow or green, otherwise we would have to fill out a refocus form

lol must be an American thing. It’s basically timeout where you fill out a sheet describing your behavior and your parents have to sign it

Basically what I’m saying is that we were put in hell then had to gradually move out of it based on our conduct

holy shit they've outsourced writing the note to the kids?

at least here, the teacher had to do the work of writing the note...

Yes, though I can see the psychological reason behind it. Not only are you visibly in time out filing the sheet out, but you basically kind of have to be honest about it because it's your handwriting and the teacher may present it during meetings. You can put a fake signature on it but then your parents will be like "huh how come you never brought this to my attention"
