Hi comrades and welcome to the fourth improvement megathread of February!

This is the last Sunday of the month so we can do a monthly review in addition to the weekly review.

Here are some ideas for discussion but feel free to talk about other stuff as well:

  • How was your February so far? Feel free to post your Ws or Ls.
  • Do you want to share something that you've done this week or month?
  • What would you like to accomplish or improve next week or month?

Wishing everybody a great week! unity

i didnt sleep very much this week and ive been taking it kind of easy lately.

im frustrated by my left foots slowness, learning ankle technique is like riding a bike, you never forget once you learn. however, its much harder to learn.

my rebound strokes are coming along nicely, i did doubles, triples, i'm almost done with quads, started with fives and have sixes to go. the end product will open my hands up and make a better press roll but i'm seeing a lot of benefits from taking the time to work on it.

i'm spending about 15-20 minutes a day just working on playing my quarter note perfect at 50 bpm with the benny greb app. i found some insight with playing other subdivisons and im much more accurate with them but the space between notes in quarter notes is pretty difficult to keep clean.

ive been kind of depressed lately, im frustrated that i feel like an outsider wherever i go, i don't belong anywhere. im upset about my parents being dumb. i feel like everything's pointless.

Sorry to hear about that. But I can relate to everything you said. The vibes in the world are definitely garbage right now. But you belong on Hexbear. And everywhere else where good people are trying to build a good world
