It may be too late for you but I HIGHLY recommend other people use address postfixes in the future. If your email is foo@gmail.com, you can enter foo+bar@gmail.com in forms and it'll go to your inbox like normal. But if they sell your email, you can easily add a spam filter for to:foo+bar@gmail.com. This works with Gmail and some other providers but it isn't part of the email standard.
