However, looking at the sources the article linked to for the 40% claim, I didn’t see anything that collaborated it. Seems more likely it was likely to be 7.6 million/~40% of single family home sales by 2030. Especially as that number would mean there’s only 19-20 million single family homes in America which sounds way low.
