It will eventually work if you jiggle em around the whole time but due to their mass vs the mass of oil they'll take forever to get back up to temp and in the meantime oil will completely soak into the nuggets. They will be so greasy. So. Greasy. So greasy.
Being up to temp and using a high oil to thing-to-fry ratio is the key to light crispy deep fried food.
Not with that many chicken nuggets in one batch it ain't you gotta run multiple batches if you wanna make that many nuggets
