Fuckers are trying so damn hard to make murdering two million people in full view of the world "complex" and "nuanced" and all they're really doing is revealing they never thought about anyone outside their immediate circle as human us-foreign-policy

After the Gaza war started I finally understood that words like "complex" and "complexity' are often lib thought terminating clichés. The clichés hold true even if the topic is legitimately complex like universal healthcare. All they want to do is pat people on the head and then begin their lecture on topic X as they opine you can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good and you don't understand how politics works and you're being naïve and...

Yup. Though sometimes they do the opposite and waive away any historical context or complexity because actually it’s simple, stupid.

Please don’t adopt their framing of this concentration camp genocide as a “war”.

I know what you mean but I'm speaking about war (the fighting) as opposed to the genocide. It would feel weird to me to use "Gaza war" at other sites and a different term here.

          Edit

I also use "Gaza war" in real life. I wish English had a set specialized term (acceptable for libs) for the sort of genocidal war happening in Gaza.
