      Yup. Though sometimes they do the opposite and waive away any historical context or complexity because actually it’s simple, stupid.

      Please don’t adopt their framing of this concentration camp genocide as a “war”.

        I know what you mean but I'm speaking about war (the fighting) as opposed to the genocide. It would feel weird to me to use "Gaza war" at other sites and a different term here.

        I also use "Gaza war" in real life. I wish English had a set specialized term (acceptable for libs) for the sort of genocidal war happening in Gaza.
