Tbh, I didnt expect the post to get much people relating, but I come from a weird background of midwestern catholic eastern euro settlers from the late 1800s, and we always have to tell people (ngl mainly prots around here) how to pronounce our name. The weird thing is, I've literally been to the mf place my family came from, these people were peasants, and eastern europe is beautiful. I want to go back.
