      Thanks for the links! Any place you'd suggest starting with? I'm mostly asking because it's just really easy to bump into super biased sources. For example, Ive seen Kronstadt, 1921 around, but the folks around me who've read it also are unapologetically anti communist (left and otherwise), and the author seemed to have a specific agenda to paint anarchists in a very positive light.

        My book club which is expressly communist, reads Kronstadt, 1921 as part of our curriculum. We read it after three books on the Russian rev. The guy who runs the club and came up with the curriculum is kind of a stickler for historical accuracy, so I trust it is worthwhile.
