So the IDF is going to put up a fence around Rafah to turn it into the world's largest cage so they can claim they're adhering to the terms of the proposal?
I mean, they have already done that and it wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination for Israel to argue that Rafah, which is a mere 64 km², is the only populated part of Gaza and thus they're going to help themselves to the rest.

Or they will depopulate as much of Gaza as possible to minimize the “populated areas of Gaza” sq. mileage
I mean, they have already done that and it wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination for Israel to argue that Rafah, which is a mere 64 km², is the only populated part of Gaza and thus they're going to help themselves to the rest.
Notice that the specific wording very much leaves it open for Israel to put settlers into the unpopulated parts of Gaza.
