This isn't going quite as well as I thought it would. are my "ah-ha"s conveying the tone of a triumphant swashbuckler? maybe I should just give up on the bit.
Maybe more like a punchy gotcha ah-HA where the ah sets up for the higher volume HA! as you come in swinging, and then a cheery, self assured three part laugh ahahaHA! On the way out? Also if swashbuckler pirate swashbuckler, I'm thinking at least one nautic term of your choosing to sell the scene. It's getting there, keep at it!
