"I remember when I was a little tyke in Scranton PA - my grandpappy said to me - 'Grandson Little Joe, do you wanna learn how to play chess?' I said 'No,' and grandpappy smacked me a good one across the face. I was mad then but it's good now. Builds character. So he brings out the chess set and sets up the pieces. He says 'I'll teach you en passant'. And he showed me. He said 'Do you know what it means?' I said 'No. And please don't hit me again.' He laughed and laughed!"

"He said 'The peasants have power. But just a tiny, teeny little bit. It's the rules of game. And how it should be. It's like the rules of life and nature.' My grandpappy was a wise man. Very wise. Never forgot that smack either. Young people today with the Google and the Tiktok are lazy and stupid. And no character. Maybe I shouldn't have said that but it's true! Lazy and stupid. And no character at all."
