Anyway, some months ago I complained about their views on Israel, drunkenly called them unintentionally racist to a mutual friend, they found out and hated on me for a while.
So anyway, I've been spending time with them, and they legitimately hate Israel now. It's come up enough times that I can tell they legitimately hate them for being right wing.
Is there something happening in the Lib media bubble, or did they just actually realize Israel sucks? I know this is some nerd shit but it bothers me I can't wrap my head around it.

Have you talked to them about their obvious 180? Usually people brush aside their change in opinion if it was just handed down to them, so I doubt you will get any fruitful answers. But it might be at least funny to point this out to them. And report back here with the results
As libs are incapable of ever being wrong, if they were wrong in the past then it's history that has to change. Therefore, none of them will remember ever having been wrong.
