The authorization does not mean a strike will happen immediately and both sides could reach a deal. If a strike does happen, it would be the first at Disneyland in 40 years.

The bargaining committee said it is committed to negotiations on Monday and Tuesday, but said the strike authorization allows it to call a strike at any time.

What are you talking about. Disney is one of the most anti labor and litigious companies on the planet and our current supreme court is one of the most labor unfriendly in history. If you think Disney won't try literally every single thing they can to stop this I don't know what to tell you. Full support to the workers here I hope they win but it's not pessimistic to acknowledge they have a hell of a fight on their hands in a country that will do everything it can to stop them
