    it's like being born and living your life at a concert up in the front row. it legit seems everybody around you is just trying to get closer and push toward the "best spot in the house". the volume and the lights make it so your perception is all but filled with The Show.

    it's not unless you get dragged, pushed or pressured away from it that you might see or hear something else going on, and hopefully be curious enough to learn something, and start to look at The Concert in its totality, as a visible-from-space death machine which feeds on earth, water, blood and energy only to shit dollars, poison, and bones.

    I try to spend my time, energy and talent doing things that I believe matter to the best of my ability, but I do occasionally catch shit from fellow burgerlanders for too often seeing negative features of our institutions and the scars they leave.

    I just shrug it off and tell them I will not avert my eyes, because if all my efforts and struggles are in vain, I will at the very least bare witness.
