Just Beanis is stuck in my head because some stupid fuck (with love) got it stuck in my brain this morning and now I’m binging Michael Jackson songs. I was too young when these allegations and since then I’ve read all kinds of things about his life, and I would like to know what you guys think is and isn’t real. I read bits about his troubled childhood, his humanity, and his apparent dark side. To me this man is a fucking titan of music.
Regarding the allegations I’ve read everything from him being a prolific pedophile to being a deeply caring and misunderstood man who wanted to help kids. Was this just a homophobic, racist hitjob?

I don't know for sure if he was actually abusing children or if he was just creepy with them, but he was creepy with them for sure. Ultimately, my attitude towards the matter is that we'll likely never know with certainty, but I'm fine enjoying his music because he is dead, and my listenership can't be used to empower him to hurt anybody.
