"The country being invaded are the bad guys" is incredibly counter intuitive. It took me awhile to really wrap my head around it tbh.
And people see those symbols you mention as just being symbols of Ukraine, not naziism. People dont get these things man. Its enormously easy to fall into the wrong side on the Ukraine war. I still struggle with self doubt that I'm on the right side of the issue because frankly, it doesnt make intuitive sense. (and dont try to lecture me here lol, I know the talking points and agree with them, I'm trying to explain why we're always fighting against the grain on this point. It just doesnt make sense to people).
