Little different, but I once in front of our whole team over Zoom accidentally sent a love-kiss emoji to a woman I work with, and who just happens to be the prettiest woman at my work. I meant to send something else and accidentally clicked it, hoped no one would notice but everyone immediately noticed and someone mentioned it. I apologized laughing it off saying it was an accident, which was true. She didn't care, luckily we're actually friends and talk and hang outside of work but, damn, that was sweat inducing. I know we are both physically into each other in a friendly way anyway, but doing something like that at work in front of everyone as a cishet dude just made me so instantly nervous. Zoom is terribly stressful sometimes.

If someone says something, then just say you didn't even know what it meant. You let your friend borrow your laptop and he didn't change it back like you asked him and you'll have a talk with him. Get his ass.
