Certainly don't want to diminish anyone that is proud of benching two plates and isn't acing like a jackass about it. Reaching your personal goals is a very positive part of lifting. But acting like people choose to be "weak" and that makes them "lesser" when He's probably not even in the top lifters in an average commercial gym anywhere in the country is pretty pathetic.
I know you aren’t calling him a Saint lol but yes 225 is respectable no matter where you are. It just happens to be even more impressive for smaller weight classes.
My man talking like he's some sort of He-man when his bench PR is, as of two days ago according to his twitter, a whole two plates.
Ok 225 is pretty solid though

It really depends on his height and weight. It’s very impressive if he’s like 5’2 and 115 pounds. 6’3 and 240 pounds makes it less impressive.
Everything is relevant yes but 225 is more than probably like 99% of the population benches. I'm not saying he's a good person or anything.
I say this as a person who maxed out at like 250-260 when I was younger, like I've done that work I just don't think 225 is anything to belittle.
