    Apparently it's bad. I have a co-worker who was National Guard for 20 years and he said his friends that are still at the base have been told that they can't mobilize because of lack of funding.

    Apparently that's pissing them off so he has 2 senior (19 years) guardswomen who went AWOL and commandeered a truck and several younger guardsmen filled with supplies coming to WNC.

    If I'm hearing that story, I'm guessing they're not the only ones. If they keep dragging their feet like this, they're gonna start having more mutaneers like this.

    If this hurricane coming towards Florida is even half as bad as Helene and they continue to deny mobilization we might start seeing some decades happening. Or they'll just manage to normalize mass death at home and abroad...

        Ain't no one gonna cover it. I'm hoping that they're going to be too afraid to Court Marshall them because the backlash would be bad. Especially because they're well liked and doing something that everyone else wants to do.
