Inspired by some of the discussion in this thread. I don't think it's appropriate place for that discussion there, but hey why not have a separate thread for it

If I think religion is not good in general, am I Reddit and cringe and basically Richard Dawkins?

That depends on a lot of factors, with the broad example of religion I wouldn't consider myself "better" than someone who is religious or spiritual just because I don't believe but I also don't necessarily think they're "wrong" for believing in a higher power. I don't think I'm superior just because I think what I think are the right things

I would consider myself a better person than someone who uses religion to justify bigotry or oppression like an evangelical looking to control women by banning abortion, and I think they're obviously wrong for wanting to do so, but that has more to do with their desire to control people's bodily autonomy than who/what they worship.

And not to get too annoying but it depends on what you mean when you say people I consider to be wrong. For a sillier example, I think people who like pineapple on pizza are wrong but that doesn't make me a better person.

I guess to sum it up I think there are times when I would consider myself a better person than someone who I view as being wrong, but that's not the only deciding factor and there are plenty of ways someone can be wrong that I wouldn't judge them for or consider them beneath me.
