    Two seconds of googling and I found a Chinese law protecting trade unions, straight from an official Chinese government website http://en.npc.gov.cn.cdurl.cn/2021-12/24/c_791373.htm

    This Law is developed in accordance with the Constitution to guarantee the status of trade unions in the state's political, economic and social activities, define their rights and obligations, and ensure they play a role in socialist modernization.

    No investigation, no right to speak.

      China just does not allow independent trade unions, for good reason. Every socialist should remember Chile and Poland.

          Poland is already covered. Regarding Chile: The trucker union there was one of the important pieces of the US to get rid of Alende.

          Independent unions in a socialist state make no sense. if they are idnependent of the proletarian state, then who are they working for? Hint: Not the proletarians.

          In Poland the ‘Solidarity’ independent trade union was run by reactionaries and was instrumental in overthrowing socialism

              Through catholic church as middlemen and significant support on grounds. The same fucking pope who did this and then turned around and started to blab about "Catholic social teaching" (spoiler: it's class collaboration and modernised "ora et labora").
