I really don't understand this cause the judge said "It needs to go back to the Trustee to make a decision" and the Trustee has already agreed that the Onion is the better bid, so what are we going to be in a cycle of "Conservative judge overturns the bid, forces it back to the trustee, who says The Onion won the bid, so it will go to a Conservative Judge who will overturn it and send it back to the trustee?" For years?

I think he wants an open bidding process, rather than the "submit your bids separately and I will evaluate them" as the trustee had done.
Obviously an open bidding process allows Jones to buy it back, since right wingers have nothing if not endless supplies of money.
