Great news for Nigeria and the BRICS!
The BRICS now have nine partner countries (junior members): Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda and Uzbekistan.
Plus the ten full members: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
Note, Turkey and Vietnam also received invitations to eventually join as partner countries during the 2024 BRICS summit.
