I hear that. I lost 10 a couple years ago but it's back. I don't even have a terrible diet and I jog like 10-15 miles a week. I feel like my metabolism is just dogshit.

I lost like 30 in 2018-2019 and it's all back on lol, I fluctuate so much.

I need to lay off carbs, it seems to be a major causal factor with the ups and downs.

I did a fair amount of cardio for years trying to loose weight. Not 10-15 miles of jogging but a good hour+ on an elliptical with the resistance cranked up. Even with diet it took forever to get even close to 200 (6ft M). As soon as i stopped cause of work and stress i shot back up to my start of over 225. Over quarantine i started lifting a good amount. Made weights out of concrete, pipe, and various sized cans. There were weeks i actually couldn't believe how fast the fat fell off. My lowest was 184. Over 30lbs down and easily 20-30lbs of muscle mass. So in all i lost probably 60lbs of fat. I no longer own any pants that will stay on without a belt. Moral of the story: add lifting. Large muscles burn more energy not only when you work oit but passively as well.

Yeah that's a big part of how I lost weight a couple years ago. My gym closing derailed that train. It's open again but I'm going to wait until I get my second vaccine to start going back.
