I've been considering joining a leftist organization outside of the DSA but have heard some pretty terrible things about both CPUSA and PSL. I've read some pretty glowing reviews that the APL is the only purely ML party that sticks to its revolutionary/anti-revisionist roots. However, I can't find any actual unions that support APL (besides a teacher's union in the Dominican Republic?) and their platform is very explicitly Hoxhaist, which I'm not very familiar with.

Has anyone worked with them before?

they mostly seem to organize things like food and medical aid and supporting causes like unions or protests, they seem to be kinda small at the moment but i dont see anything bad about them, also if you want to know about another anti-revisionist ML org that its a little bigger there is Freedom Road Socialist Organization, i mostl heard good things about them, there is also an ML pre-party formation in its early stages called the American Council of Bolsheviks maybe they are also anti-revisionists.

good luck, i hope you find an org you like

Asking purely out of curiosity but is it just me that finds it a bit odd for an org in USA formed in 2022 to be named the "American Council of Bolsheviks"? Like they're long gone and it's a party of another country opposite the globe

Their only statement was also just celebrating the October Revolution which also seems a bit weird to have as their only statement after an entire year
