Fun fact, a book produced by US military, openly admits that allies played a minor role in WW2 and that USSR would have won the war regardless.

Never cease to remind liberals Stalin and the USSR and the red army beat Nazi Germany. The US only waded in at the last minute to make sure they couldn't liberate all of Europe and immediately in the aftermath of the war set up Gladio and other operations to marginalize, kill, and destroy the popular communist movements. The US intervention in western Europe in WW2 is better seen as the new boss of capital coming in to save the old empires at the cost of their empires and fealty to it, from communism.

The result would probably have been the same, except that Soviet soldiers would have waded at France's Atlantic beaches rather than meeting the Allies at the Elbe.
