Most motorcycle accidents tend to rip the fork off and send the bike and rider flying, but don't tear apart the frame and engine area aside from farings and junk.

No, but it would be involved in crashes anyways and if the batteries are lithium then every mild crash is gonna be really dangerous.

That, but also they have way more batteries than a typical scooter or even motorcycle and the batterie casing is a structural part of the frame
