I started watching the Netflix live-action show. Seems pretty good so far, but I feel a bit out-of-the-loop on a few things. I've heard the anime/manga is good, but not heard if netflix show has lost some of the good stuff.
I did enjoy the pirate though, the actor really went for it.
the netflix series did a good job of keeping the core of the story while changing many things from the original work. while I think the manga is way better, this version is a good gateway for anyone that does not want to commit to 1000+ episodes
