I only watched the anime like 5 years ago, how do the movies stack up? The series didn't really seem to be open-ended so I have no idea what the movies are about
The first two movies are summaries of the series. The 3rd movie is original content. I'd say it's entertaining if a bit confusing if you have it on in the background. I'd recommend the 3rd if you liked the series.
i watched the tv show and all the movies in the foreground and had to do a lot of mental gymnastics to just pretend to myself i knew what was going on in the 3rd movie but the animation sure was very pretty
