Hey OP, just letting you know that the reason you like coriander seeds but hate cilantro/coriander leaves is because the compounds in cilantro that taste like soap, aldehydes, are only present in the leaves and not the seeds. The flavor is there for everyone, but people without the genetic marker don't perceive the flavor as particularly pungent or overpowering.
