Yep 100%. That's what comrades are for, comrade! Isolation from the mainstream requires us to innoculate one another against bourgeois narratives.

I've been watching Al Jazeera (in horror) every day since Oct 7th, since it's the obvious outlet to get the most accurate information from.

Once my Dad starting regurgitating IOF talking points I decided to read a CBC article on the Al Shifa hospital raid, just to see what kind of bullshit he was reading about it.

The word "Hamas" was used 31 times in the article. The word "evidence" was used once, in the context of referencing "an un-named representative of the US military" to verify the claims of the super scary Hamas base underground. Of course they did not say what this evidence was or provide any, just trust us bro. The word "proof" was used 0 times.

Just uncritically accepting every single lie that the IOF says with absolutely no journalistic standards whatsoever. Now that the IOF has started to walk back their previous claims about decapitated babies etc I reckon they're not going to jump on the opportunity to let everyone know that they fucked up.

Honestly, this Hitlerian propaganda technique of repetition, saying "Hamas" over and over and over and over again gives me PTSD flashbacks to the early 2000's. Anybody else remember how they kept repeating "Saddam Hussein", "Bin Laden" and "Weapons of mass destruction" fucking ad nauseam?

If there's a silver lining to all this, it's that it proves how the Israeli and American governments are terrified of the facts being accepted as facts by the rest of the world. This media blitz is happening precisely because they know their actions to be indefensible.

Edit: And yeah, I remember those dark days well. I was just over 20 back then. PNAC's ideology absolutely dominated American politics, at all levels. One example was the creation of executive-branch meta-agencies. A lot of younger Americans here might not realize that institutions like the TSA and DHS didn't exist until after 9/11.
