As long as you feel comfortable with a breaker box and a volt meter, it's easy enough to do.
if your wires in the wall are already correctly labeled, kinda easy, just be very sure that power is off, and look up how to do insulation, maybe recheck that wires are both copper

Okay, that's good. I was going to say, if there had been a fire or sparking, maybe play it safe and find a professional.
If you are positive that you've got access to the breaker box and know which ones to turn off to kill the power to the outlet, it should be pretty simple to replace.
My paranoia makes me keep something that I can plug in (lamp, vacuum, blender) to check outlets when I try to figure out which incorrectly labeled breaker switch controls which wall outlet in the house.
