    We literally can't grow food on Mars because the entire crust is saturated with highly toxic heavy metals. We will never colonize Mars in any meaningful way. They're not even researching new technology, just making rockets but in the private sector. And doing a shit job of it, from the sound of things.

      I'm not entirely sure whether King Bazinga actually intends to try to colonize Mars in some hubris-laden fit of "get the science victory" bibeo bame fantasy or whether it's just another grift to fleece investors, but I'm leaning toward him actually believing his own bullshit because of precedence.

    Years ago I knew about the "savior of humanity hated beeping sounds when vehicles backed up and yellow safety lines so he had both abolished" thing, and that he was too rich and white to experience actual consequences for violating the law.
