:meow-knife-trans: Day 35 of Pescetar- opps, I mean Day 1 of Vegetarianism :meow-knife-trans:

I weighed in this morning at 1 pound lost. Which isn't amazing but between the water weight from eating a whole watermelon, my very last trip to the sushi buffet and the calorie calculator acting funny with exercise calories burned I'm kinda surprised I still lost weight at all this week. That's 14 pounds lost total! Getting there week by week.

So, as you can see from the title, my new goal for this week is to simply never eat meat again. Vegetarian for now and making progress towards vegan food. It really sounds more dramatic then it is- any time I get somewhat of a hankering for meat (which has only happened a few times) the fake vegan meats have been serviceable. I'm sure I'll be fine. Later this weekend I plan to deep clean my kitchen and go through my fridge, freezer and pantry to find out what I need to eat and eventually replace with vegan versions. And if there's any meat leftover, I might have to make a trip to my family and see if they want anything. I'm sure looking up ingredients item by item is going to be super fun.

But anyways, here are the calories for today: I skipped breakfast and had 600 calories for vegan crab cakes sauteed with shiritaki noodles for lunch. Shiritaki tofu noodles are amazing calorie wise btw- 20 cal for a whole bag. Then for a snack I mixed some rice puffs with peanut butter, cacao nibs and honey for ~350 calories. Rounding up 50 calories for drinks. For dinner I had ~130 calories of leftover eggplant, 270 cal of vegan protein cookies, 250 calories of teriyaki shiritaki noodles with fake chicken nuggets, 350 calories of vegan cheddar puffs, and 170 calories of a vegan cookie dough chocolate bar. With 15 minutes of strength exercises that I'm going to do... uh right now that'll be 200 calories burned. That will make my total for the day at 1970 calories. Whelp, time to burn off the excess. :swole-doge:
