History: the first communist country started miserable and became the second most powerful country on the planet in just a few decades, and the strongest empire ever made it their holy mission to kill it in any way possible, because they knew it was impossible to compete otherwise. Then it almost immediately started happening again (only this time the US will hopefully go :xi-gun: ).

Plus they spent the last 70 years preemptively destroying countries that went a little bit left, just to be sure. Weird attitude to have towards something that will amount to nothing, huh. It's almost like they know what will finally kill the system that keeps them at the top.
