I have the intermittent need for things to be made out of food grade stainless (304, 316), usually in the form of brackets and baffles and panels for controls what not. Nothing super huge (mostly in the sub-1000mm square range), and usually only one off pieces.

I draw them up in SketchUp and do them in such a way as to minimise faffing about on the fabrication side (i.e. no "impossible" angles or folds). They're simple items, I am just aware that a professional can make this stuff look a heck of a lot neater than I can and in a shorter time frame.

Anyone have any recommendations for someone to do this sort of thing in Brisbane? Preferably the southside, but I'll take what I can get. Someone who knows what email is would be a bonus too.

Every few years I need to find a new company as the one we find either sells up / retires / moves to a new location and their prices triple overnight / or they get too popular with big contracts and dont care about the smaller jobs any more.

Not sure if it's a thing there, but sendcutsend does stuff like that in the US. All web based and reasonable prices.

I'd be interested to know as well. I am looking for a steel pipe with a thread cut into one end to make a monitor stand a bit taller, but I have no idea who to even approach for something like that.
