Not sure if this is the right place, I can remove it if it's not.
I wanna some put books and theory on a kindle that I got from LibGen(in Minecraft of course). I heard it's possible if you email it to your "kindle email" or thru the Send to Kindle app, but that sounds pretty inconvenient. I think you can just hook a kindle up to your computer and drag and drop (after you converted it with Calibre), right? Or is there a different/easier way of doing it?
Also, would the cloud reader feature work with the books I put on the kindle too? I kinda want to read books on my phone too.

Oh I think I get it now, thanks!
Is there any benefits/downsides to connecting to the Internet, or is it a personal preference thing? The downside that I can think of is how Amazon might be able to see what you're doing and stuff. :lord-bezos-amused:
In 2009, Amazon deleted the book 1984 from Kindles without the user's permission. This was because an amazon store had sold the book without owning the copyright.
There's a lot more examples, Amazon collects Kindle a lot user data, some of the Kindles show ads on the lock screen, amazon says you don't own the books you buy from the kindle store and they can take them away whenever. I'm too lazy to make a list of all the links.
The book deletion issue wouldn't affect a user-uploaded book (e.g., a converted .mobi from Calibre).
Amazon also doesn't track any real metadata around user-uploaded items, or else my recommendations from them would be a doozy. Basically, the Kindle devices are fine if you're just pirating 99% of your books of LibGen anyway.

ah ok, I'll probably just keep it off then, just in case
